Cracked nail: A cracked nail can be painful. If the crack is moving up the nail and you have pain or bleeding, you should visit your podiatrist. If there is no pain, protect it with a bandaid. It should grow out as the nail grows.

Let it grow out or,.: Fall off. It may take some time and if it's uncomfortable get it looked at. The nail may grow 'funny' after trauma.

Easy: If pain to area to need to evacuate the blood from under the toenail. See a foot doctor who's surgical board certified to drill a hole to get the blood out. If no pain leave it alone and it will grow out assuming no sign of infection present
