Very good afternoon doctors. how often should adult men in their sixties see a podiatrist in order to get their toenails cut and shaped and cleaned?

It depends on how quickly the toenails grow. But, on average, you should be seen about every 6 weeks-more often if the toenails grow faster and less often if they grow slower. Your podiatrist should be able to give you a good idea on how frequently you should make your appointments once he or she has seen you a few times and can better gauge how quickly your toenails are growing, Good luck to you!

Medicare provides service 61 days between covered visits. If private insurance it might be different. Medicare has certain loops you have to go through to be covered by Medicare.
