See podiatrist: For a nail resection and make sure you trim the nail properly to avoid causing it to in grow by improper cutting.

Yes: they can recur and be stubborn to treat, trying to it yourself can make it worse and more difficult for doctor to excise

Ingrown toenail. Moderate and a tad sore but not painful. Can you help? not red or swollen. No drainage. Yes I know, see a podiatrist soon as I can. Until then. What can you reccommend?
