Lots of tips: Breath in 4 counts, breathe out 7 counts. Close your eyes and pretend you are somewhere on vacation. Imagine yourself being there. Different types of stress lend themselves to different ways of handling it. For more than a bandaid, a good psychotherapist or mind-body medicine practitioner can be extremely helpful in the long run.
