I am assuming you: Aren't referring to a prefrontal lobotomy. Psychosurgery is only for treatment refractory ocd that is severe. Some surgical options include capsulotomy, limbic leukotomy, anterior cingulotomy, deep brain stimulation ; transcranial magnetic stimulation. The surgery is done to alleviate or minimize symptoms of ocd.
