Can you tell me what point scale on scoliosis means?

Not sure: The magnitude of a curve is measured in degrees, less than 10 is normal. Skeletal maturity can be assigned a risser sign, between 0 and 5. There is a genetic test called the scoli score which can help predict curve progression which ranges from 0 to 200.

The angle: If i understand your question, it is the angle between the bones at the top and bottom of the curve when viewed from the frontal view. In people without scoliosis, the angle is zero. The larger the angle, the worse the scoliosis.

Potentially: The most common reason you will hear someone use numbers when describing a scoliosis curve is using something known as the cobb angle. The cobb angle is used to describe the size of the curve in scoliosis. The other number you may hear is known as the scoli score, which is a genetic test that can be used to detect how likely a person will develop a progressive curve. Thank you for your question.
