Hi doctors, can you tell me what is scoliosis and what does it mean when on your childs school exam it says "positive" at scoliosis?

Curve of spine: Scoliosis is curvature of spine. Curvature sometimes can be found on physical exam at schools. Then child should be examined by orthopedic surgeon with radiographic examination for assessment of severity of scoliosis. Some curves mild and do not progress. Other curves can become severe enough to require surgery and spinal fusion with metal rods.
