No: If it is only assistants and technicians, no, unless they have a dentist present to do the work or diagnosis. The assistant, if certified in that state can only assist the doc, place a filling under docs supervision, or polish the teeth. They are not legally allowed to clean your teeth where most of the plaque and tartar is present.
