Not: Whether or not you went to a public or private school should have no influence whatsoever on finding work. Your personal accomplishments, references, grades, etc. In your resume is what is important.

No: Dentists dont really look at what school you went to as there really is no rankings for hygiene school. They look at your grades, classes you took, but those are only secondary factors looked at when hiring. The most important factors are personality, flexibility (times able to work, helping others out with tasks), wage requirements, dependability, and experience.

Job: where you went is irrelevant , for the most part. How you did, how you interview, the state of the economy- do they need hygienists in that market will dictate getting a job
