One option...: You have already experienced a positive outcome with your experienced implant team. I teach at an advanced training program and while my dentists are good and the treatment they render is above average, the care is in a teaching environment. There are trade offs to offset the cost mostly in terms of additional time spent and limited treatment options. It's your decision.

FYI- photo is from an advanced guided surgery course where I was taking a hands on program. Patient was being totally rehabilitated dentally with multiple implants and same day full set of teeth. The surgery is accomplished by using a precision CBCT scan, exact surgical stent and all components perfectly matched. The procedure is amazing, nearly painless and life altering. Our patients r thrilled!

Personal Preference: However, getting a dental implant from a dental school program can save you money, but it is time-consuming process.

Perhaps: Perhaps. Recognize that your surgery may be done by a dental student in training.

Could be...: If you have the time to wait and be patient for care to commence and be completed by the students, you will receive excellent care. Gainsville is the only dental school in Florida, about 4.5 hour drive each way from Ft Lauderdale. It may take multiple visits to be examined, diagnosed, treated, and follow up. Your time, your money.
