Wisdom teeth: Spring break should be fine for your wisdom teeth. Most patients are feeling better with in 48 hours. As long as you follow the post operative directions you should have no problems. Sometimes complications can occur like a "dry socket" which usually clear up pretty quickly. Ask your dentist or surgeon what they feel like your recovery time will be like.

Most likely yes: Pain and swelling following wisdom teeth extraction is usually at its worst 24 – 48 hours after surgery, after that it should subside more and more every day and after 7 days stop. You will get a prescription for the pain management during healing time. Make sure to choose an experience dentist or an oral surgeon for this procedure. Good luck.
