Yes: A dentist has instruments/specialized pliers to adjust the clasps of a partial. This is something you should not attempt yourself, as you can break the clasp off.

It depends: On the type of clasps around the existing teeth. If the "grip" is how the partial rests on gums in the toothless area, this can easily be relieved.

Yes: The partial clasps can usually be adjusted to fit looser, but it does depend on the material and the tooth, teeth it is attached to. Metal clasps can be bent by a dentist using specialized instruments. Acrylic clasps are more difficult to accommodate and can be ground down, but be careful because it may weaken the grip. Never try and loosen yourself.

Absolutely: Sure can. If not sure about it, see the specialist - a prosthodontist. If the clasp is cast metal, it is possible to have it break, so caution is indicated.

Very simple to do: Yes, that is a very simple thing to do, although there is always the risk of weakening the clasps or even having them break either at the time or later on. Most patients like partial dentures to fit tighter and not looser. Why do you want them looser? Tooth pain? Difficulty in inserting or removing them? Easy to do, but lot's to think about first before you have it done! discuss with dentist.
