There are antibacterial and antiviral liquid cleansing solution for retainer is available.Ask your Dentist to recommend one from over the counter or ask him to dispense one if he has in his office .

YOUR BATHROOM SINK SHOULD BE A SINK THAT IS CLEANED FAIRLY OFTEN SO DON'T WORRY THAT MUCH CLEAN YOUR RETAINER WITH A SOLUTION OF HYDROGEN PEROXIDE AND WATER FOR A FEW MINUTES OR WITH AN ASTRINGENT [SEA BREEZE] AND AN ALCOHOL SWAB OR EVEN SOME ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP. YOU DON'T NEED A DENTIST TO CLEAN YOUR RETAINER.
