Sarcoid and Vit D!!: Sarcoid granulomata in the skin form excessive vitamin d3 with exposure to sunlight (uv rays), but most sarcoid patients do not have this issue. If your vitamin d-25-oh levels are high, you should not be on vitamin d. If they are low, you should be! nutritional support is highly individual.

Marshall protocol: Trevor marshall phd has developed a protocol for treating sarcoidosis & other autoimmune diseases based on the theory that it's caused by intracellular bacterial infection & excessive 1, 25 vitamin d interferes with fighting these infections. He advises avoiding all sources of vit d (including sunlight) & taking the drug olmesartan. It's too complex to explain more here- see http://mpkb.Org/home/mp.
