Confusing : ? relationship of sarcoidosis & fibromyalgia. One way to look at relationship of these disorders is that people with autoimmunity (sarcoid) can and do develop fibromyalgia; as a result of chronic inactivity due to autoimmunity pain. People with fibromyalgia do not develop autoimmunity as a consequence of having fibromyalgia; rather they develop autoimmunity irregardless of having fibromyalgia.
