My sons (8yrs old) tonsils are always big what should i do about it? he also has asthma so it makes ot hard for him to breath while playing

Tonsils large @ 8: You raise 2 separate issues. Most kids will reach peak tonsil to body size ratio at 8 & begin to decline in the years thereafter.It the kid is not snoring to the point of sleep disturbance or falling asleep easily during the day he can grow out of it. If his asthma interferes with his play it should be reevaluated & a different treatment plan considered.

However, since he has asthma, limiting the challenges and assisting the immune system by dietary restrictions and herb preps may help ease the effect on breath. Try colostrum at the health food store or immune support by child's life vitamin s.
