Some basics: If he feels himself getting tight or coughing he should ask the teacher to excuse him while he goes to the school nurse or a quiet area where he can relax & breathe through the feeling. If it progresses the school should contact you to bring his pump to school. Such things should be discussed as part of your interaction with school during the school year.

Asthma plan: I would suggest reviewing his asthma action plan with his physician and with the school. Some schools will help to administer the medication. A virtual inbox consultation may be useful in reviewing his symptoms and plan on Health Tap.
