Check preg test: First step is to check a pregnancy test and make sure she is not pregnant. If not then see an obgyn to discuss irregular periods, polycystic ovarian syndrome testing and assess the need for birth control.

Daughters age??: It is not uncommon for some irregularity during the first year after she starts. Many do not ovulate every time with early periods & that makes the system a little off. Coarse features, extra weight, all can point to a polycystic ovary syndrome that also has irregularities. Your pcp can find you an ob/gyn that can help sort out these issues & identify any treatable issues.
