A member asked:

I have a raised ana of 1.160 and speckled, what does it mean please. consultant thinking of putting me on vasodilators and hydroxychloroquine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Autoimmune disease: Single lab tests have little if any relevance without knowing the signs and symptoms you are undergoing. You do not indicate what the consultant does, but if they are a rheumatologist it is worth considering their advice as valid.
