Emergency Room: If you are having a dental emergency, you could report to the nearest emergency room. Most have dental experts on call, and if they dont, ask for the nearest emergency facility with dentists.

Depends: Depends on the emergency, if you suspect you have a cavity, keep the area clean and possible use temp fill or dental wax found at drug stores etc. If you are swollen i would suggest an emergency room, if you cannot get help from a dentist. I would caution that emergency rooms are not prepared to do much more than give you a prescription, however that might be just what you need.
