I have been to an emergency dentist who has told me the swelling in my cheek is an abcess. have met for 5 days 3x. is this enough?

Not clear: Not sure what you are taking. If antibiotic this will start to get the abcess(infection) under control. It will not cure the cause for the abcess only knock it down. You will need to see dentist soon to treat root of the matter. Either root canal therapy or extraction. Good luck.

Meds: Antibiotics will control spread of infection. Before the Meds run out the infected tooth has to be physically treated, either root canal or extraction. If not, the infection will come roaring back when the Meds run out.
