Premedication: Just call the office and they will call the prescription in to the pharmacy (the staff can do this, or they will contact the dentist). No need to go to the ER since you don't have an emergency and they're not going to give you a script for premedication. Worse case scenario is you'll get your script filled the morning of your appointment.

Sorry: This is a general educational site, not a treatment site. you can ask your GP for help, go to Urgent Care, or find a telemedicine site, including one of HealthTap's paid sites, for a prescription. Or see a different Dentist for Rx. If you contact your Dentist's office the covering Dentist can prescribe for you. While the cost for the Rx service will be modest, a trip the ER will be very expensive.
