Hard to answer w/o..: Number of issues including timing of your reading and other issues. If whenever inactive you fall asleep this could be an underlying sleep disorder. If it only because you lay down and read this could be hormonal. If it is contributing to problems in your life, see a sleep specialist or definitely bring to attention of your medical doctor.
