Labs: These data are of little concern. The values are normal. The diagnosis of hepatitis is one of active inflammation in progress within the tissues of the liver. Although usually this results in release of enzymes from dying cells that may not always occur. Cirrhosis is a biopsy diagnosis, and before doing a liver biopsy there should be a very good reason.

May be neither: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, your results are near normal. If you drink alcohol, stop entirely, if you are overweight, lose weight and retest in 3-6 months.
