How is your diet: You sound like a dedicated patient but even the best intentions can be foiled by too much exposure to sugars. Record everything you eat in a week and circle everything that contains sugar. This may help identify a problem. Other factors that can influence your periodontal condition include as you mentioned genetics. It might be helpful to visit a periodontist and further discus these factors.

Periodontal disease-: I believe in measuring gum pockets on each visit to ward off any beginning signs. Once you have gum disease the key is inactivating it & staying inactive. Periodontal issues have been connected to genetics in some research. Please seek care with a periodontist or dentist. Bone loss, foul breath & bacterial infections are some gum disease issues. Scaling & root planing & laser can help you.
