Xanax (alprazolam): U seem to have had slightly enhanced effect even though total dose same. Could be psychological if all pills are same brand.

Short Acting: Xanax (generic alprazolam) reaches its peak efficacy about 60 to 90 minutes after ingestion. Thus spreading a lower dose over a longer period would provide better relief than a single once a day dose. It is fda approved for the treatment of panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and social anxiety disorder. It is the most prescribed and misused benzodiazepine in the us. Beware of abuse.

PSYCHOLOGICAL: There should be no difference in taking all of the xanax (alprazolam) .25 mg together vs a 1mg. Unless you have two different generics and one is more bio available than the other. Look and see if it is the same manufacturer. Sometimes taking 4 pills seems like it is more that is what i mean by the psychological effect.
