A member asked:

How are lexotanil and xanax (alprazolam) different?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Lexotanil safer.: Lexotanil (bromazepam) and xanax (alprazolam) are both benzodiazepine anxiolytics or anti-anxiety medications, but bromazepam is not available in the us. It's half-life is similar to diazepam and, therefore, much more likely to be safer than Alprazolam in most respects.
