Maybe: Only if the lymphoma is in the neck, and then only as enlarged lymph nodes that you could probably feel anyway. Good luck with this workup. Other cancers -- only if it's large enough and actually there. Remember that even the deadliest cancers can be very localized.

Yes it could: But sometimes other imaging studies are needed as well.
