Can sarcoid be diagnosed without seeing enlarged lymphnodes on chest xray?

Yes: Sarcoidosis can be diagnosed from many areas including the skin. The lung is the most frequently involved organ, but other areas can be affected as well. Usually a biospy is needed, unless typical findings are seen on chest xray or ct scan.
