You can but: You will need a chest ct and a biopsy to confirm , shortness of breath has a very wide differential diagnosis , you should check with your physician the diagnosis of sarcoidosis requires three elements: 1.Compatible clinical and radiographic manifestations.2.Exclusion of other pulmonary/cardiac diseases that may present similarly3.Histopathologic detection of noncaseating granulomas(biopsy).

Yes: Sarcoidosis frequently involves the lungs and a chest x ray and if needed, a ct scan, can show changes that are consistent with sarcoidosis. However, these findings are not specific for sarcoid as several other diseases can cause similar findings.
