Usually: Every patient is different. Spironolactone at 25 mg is a nice starting dose. The dose can always be increases as needed.

Maybe: The effective dose of that medicine varies. 25 mg is a very low dose. Usually when I use that medicine i start out with a much higher dose and the drop it down to a maintenance dose. But truthfully, it takes about 6 months to see a difference and everyone responds a little but differently.
