Complex Ovarian Cyst: It is not uncommon for a doctor to be cautious and have you seen by a gyn oncologist with a complex ovarian cyst. Most ovarian cysts are benign but some can be cancerous. The size and ultrasound appearance of the cyst as well as the results of the blood tests may raise or lower the suspicion of cancer. It might be best to ask your doctor what they are thinking because they have those details.
