I have been told that i have moderate to severe lesions of cervical cancer i have had a puncture biopsy and a cone biopsy now my doctor wants to do another cone biopsy should i get a second opinion or stay with the doctor im at ?

Stay the course: Hgsil is managed by a cone biopsy, but if the margins are positive, you may need another biopsy. Sometimes this affects the cervical competence (ability to remain closed).

Ask your Dr.: Your doctor probably has the best plan as described. But he should be glad for you to get a second opinion. After all, doctors should really want the best for you, and that includes you having access to other input/insight to get your full understanding and confidence of options. Dr. Beckman.
