Do bad biopsy results typically come back quicker or is it the opposite? i would assume the doctor would need to get the process of next steps started quickly in an aggressive cancer situation?

A well performed biopsy comes back either positive or negative. If positive than a plan of treatment is constructed depending on the nature, type and stage of the cancer. If negative, than a follow up biopsy will be ordered in future depending on new evidence and symptoms.
