Yes: Due to hormonal changes during pregnancy your gingiva (gums) is much more sensitive to local irritants. Because of this they will become inflamed and bleed much more easily. You may also be prone to developing "pregnancy tumors". You should see your dentist regularly so the hygienist can help to keep things in order.

Immunity on loan: Pregnancy often results in swollen or bleeding gums because of the other things your immune system is busy doing for your baby. Make sure you are regularly brushing gently & thoroughly as well as flossing every day. Keep current with your dental visits, and check in with your dentist to make sure the swelling isn't due to another problem.
