Usually none: In most instances, scoliosis in the mother will not effect the pregancy or the baby or mother's health. There is a genetic link in scoliosis. Your daughter should make sure she informs your grandchild's pediatrician about her scoliosis to ensure the pediatrician monitors your grandchild through growth for possible signs of scoliosis.

Depends: In all but the most severe cases, there is really nothing specific you have do differently with your pregnancy because of your scoliosis. The only thing that sometimes comes up with labor is that it can sometimes technically difficult to do an epidural on a patient if they have a curve with a lot of rotation to it.
