Does uneven waist means scoliosis?? my 12 year old daughter has uneven waist. is this normal?? we can't really take her to the doctors at the moment..

Scoliosis: Scoliosis is suspected in some children with uneven waist folds, uneven shoulder or hip height. This is of less significance in children who have completed most of their growth, e.g. girls who have started menstruating. Younger children are of greater concern. A physical exam and possibly x-rays to evaluate any abnormal spinal curvature are needed. Good luck to you.
