A member asked:

What is the standard treatment for someone recently diagnosed mouth/throat cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: If surgically resectable, then take it out. If not, and not metastatic, chemotherapy and rt. If surgery is done and node positive, postoperative rt +\- chemotherapy. If metastatic, chemotherapy alone. Hope this helps.
