Questionable: Percocet is tylenol (acetaminophen) + oxycodone. While the tylenol (acetaminophen) is okay, i don't like putting pregnant women on narcotics of this strength. Generally i look at Codeine (tylenol (acetaminophen) (acetaminophen) 3) and occasionally Norco (tylenol (acetaminophen) (acetaminophen) & hydrocodone). Some of this depends on how many teeth you are having removed since pain control is important both for you and your baby. Speak with you dentist & ob/gyn regarding your case.

PERCOCET: Unless you are over the first trimester, i don' t recommend Percocet or any controlled rx. Any rx affects the baby. Motrin is safer to take and anti- inflammatory.

Have seen it.: Talk to your physician about it. The trimester of the pregnancy may play a part as well. Make sure that both your denstist and your physician are on the same page. There may be other options and if you don't hurt a lot just take tylenol (acetaminophen) instead.

Not wise. Your Dentist is responsible for your post-surgical care. Please discuss this with BOTH your Dentist and your Obstetrician. Percocet contains opioids, not healthy for you or your baby. Current research has provided numerous non-narcotic analgesic options. Contact your care-givers.
