Depends: Depends on your age, the appearance of the cyst, is it changing or growing......Some cysts can develop normally with ovulation. I would let your doctor determine if it needs to come out.

Not Necessarily: Ovaries normally form cyst. The egg is released into a cyst each month from one side or the other. They should only be removed if they are causing significant problems such as pain or if they might be cancerous.
