It is very: Difficult to perform laparoscopy under spinal anesthesia. Your best bet is to discuss your concerns with the anesthesiologist and see if you feel better afterwards. Alternatively, maybe the procedure can be done open and you can try to get it done under spinal with ga as a backup.

Not usually: A general is usually safer for laparoscopic surgery. In a young healthy patient it in as safe as a spinal.

No : A laparoscopy involves having a gas pumped into your abdomen to inflate the abdominal cavity in order for the surgeon to see the organs/endometriosis. This will compress the stomach, the intestines and by way of diaphragm the lungs. This will make it too uncomfortable for you to do this under spinal and so general anesthesia is the best choice. A laparotomy will allow a spinal.

Talk to surgeon: This procedure can be done under regional anesthesia, if they do not do it laproscopically. If they do use this technique then a regional anesthesia will not be sufficient. You need to make sure you have discussed your wishes and concerns with the surgeon and anesthesiologist. Good luck.
