Cyst: You should know the reason before doing surgery. Small 2-3 cm cysts appears in functioning ovaries every month and disappears with ovulation. These small cysts are not painful. But there are larger and different cysts, like hemorrhagic, endometriosis that might be painful and needs to see your gyn for its management.
