Many causes: Enlarged lymph nodes in the mediastinum can result from many causes, including many common chronic and acute infections, to lymphoma and other cancers. The sizes you list are increased but not dramatically so. Your doctor can help you evaluate the causes.

Agree with Dr. R: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. In some cases it may require a biopsy of the node and examination of the tissue by a pathologist to settle the matter.
