Caregiver stress: Is very difficult because it is often chronic, cumulative and unrelenting. Caregivers easily feel trapped by their desire to help someone in great need of constant care. It's extremely important to know it's not selfish to take breaks and to recruit other people or an agency to help. You must care for yourself to care for others. Find a counselor who specializes in stress management.
