A 32-year-old member asked:

Is there a quick yoga position I could do during work?

1 doctor answer1 doctor weighed in
Dr. Bernard Seif

Yoga at work: Yes, there are many yoga positions and it is a good idea to integrate yoga, qigong, breathing, or some other self-regulatory procedure into your day in small increments. Stress is cumulative so managing it throughout the day helps. There are lots of books and videos about yoga. Pick a few simple poses and remember that mental attitude and breath are part of the process. Peace and good health.

Do you mean Bikram?: I've never heard of "bork am" but many of my patients are big fans of Bikram yoga, one of many varieties of hatha yoga.Bikram yoga consists of 26 specific postures (asanas), but what distinguishes it is that it is done in a studio heated to at least 105 degrees. It is easier to stretch when your body is heated & people sweat more to detoxify.
