Yes a bit: Weight loss should be gradual in order to be sustained. It is a long term discipline which you should create to a level that you can practice it for long term. Otherwise your efforts will not produce lasting benefit.. I would suggest a pace of 1 pound per week which will be less unpleasant and therefore sustainable.
