Yes, but unlikely: I suppose that it is possible, but statisticlly unlikely. I have been placing them or nearly 30 years on thousands of pateints, and have never seen an allergic reaction.

Not likely but.....: it si possible to be allergic to anything that is not inert. But reported allergies to composite resin which sealants are made from is rare. What some patients mistake for allergy is a whitening of the gums next to the newly placed resin due to the chemicals used this is temporary and disappears within a few hours
