Most likely!: Chromium is an essential nutrient for humans, albeit a "micronutrient, " but irrespective of supplementation, your body has chromium. Being allergic to a non-ionized metal does not count!

Vitamins be OK!: Vitamins with chromium as a protein hydrolyzed chelate should not cause an allergic reaction. Chromium is tested normally in a patch test which looks for reaction as a cause for contact dermatitis.
