Yes: Jogging is a good way to lose weight, as long as one doesn't eat a lot of snacks, energy bars, nor drink sugared drinks while jogging. Weight will only be lost if the calories burned during jogging exceeds the calories eaten or drank by the jogger. Jogging is a medium impact sport and is good for people who don't get knee, ankle, or foot pains with running.

Yes!: Jogging can help you burn more calories which will help with weight loss. However, in order to lose weight you still have to monitor your calorie intake, and eat fewer calories than you take in.

Great 4 weight loss.: Jogging, any form of cardiovascular exercise for that matter, is great for weight loss. You can only eat so little, so adding exercise like jogging allows you to eat good quantities of healthy low-fat foods while still losing weight by helping your body metabolize the calories more efficiently and burn calories through the extra energy expenditure. Good idea!
