Fun & burns calories: One should choose an exercise he or she really enjoys. Any form of exercise burns calories, so if one does not eat or drink more calories than he is using during his exercise, then his body will burn up fat as fuel. However, if a person drinks a large orange juice (about 300 calories) while exercising, and exercises away only 200 calories, he will still get fatter even though he is exercising.

Weight loss exercise: Its one of the most important parts of successful weight loss, is an exercise plan. Weight loss is about calories in versus calories out. You can only limit your calories so much, before you have to start burning more. The type of exercise may vary depending on your joint health, physical condition, age, height, weight, and sex. Most important is regular daily exercise of 30 min or more.

Some evidence to indicate that exercise longer than 45 minutes is potentially catabolic, which might enhance calorie consumption, but would advise working with experienced trainer and your doctor for best outcomes.

Well ...: It highly depends on several factors such as your height, age and activity level. In general, try to cut 500 calories out of your diet (below your recommended daily intake). This should cut 1/2 to 1 pound per week.

Aquatic exercise: Swim, water aerobics or walking in chest deep water. We are about 80% lighter standing in chest deep water due to buoyancy. This will make exercising easier. Start with an amount that is relatively easy and comfortable, then repeat 4 or more days per week and add a few minutes to the program once a week, initially only add 2-3 mins per week, so you don't over do it. Don't give up and keep moving.

Any exercise is good: Any exercise is good, as long as you do it. It takes 3500 calories to gain or lose a pound. Dietary restriction is essential, and exercise makes it work faster. Support programs like weight watchers are also helpful for many. The best exercise is the one you actually do on a regular basis.

If you: Do it vigorously for an extended period -- any exercise is better than none. A calorie is a calorie, and the more you burn off and the less you eat, the more you lose.
